The series is based on the classic story of Beauty and the Beast. It is a story of constructive love. The protagonist, a well-known 30-year-old cardiac surgeon Nastya, tries to help her beloved Maksym, who for many years has been part of criminal circles, out of the hell he lives in.

Anastasiya is depressed after she learns about Yevheniy. Maksym suggests that they go back to Volodenko's mansion so that she feels more comfortable. She agrees but says she wants to see her friend Lidia Belova. In the evening, when they arrive at Volodenko's mansion, Anastasiya overhears a conversation: Mykhailo demands from Maksym to get rid of her, her brother Yuriy as well as Maksym's brother Vasyl, a chief police officer who is actively trying to catch and imprison Volodenko.
