PC Will Hunter pursues a car suspected of having cloned plates and when the driver eventually pulls over, the officer finds the driver aggressive, argumentative and smelling of alcohol, as well as unwilling to do a roadside breath test. In Northumberland, PC Chris Kemp is trying to find a car that refused to stop from motorway cops the previous night and tracks it down, but as soon as the occupants spot him they race off.
In Sunderland, PC Martain Anderson is on the hunt for a van linked to drug dealing and organised crime and has to deploy his Taser when the driver makes a run for it. PC Will Hunter spots a white van whose driver he's sure is trying not to get noticed by the police. so tracks the vehicle to a housing estate and recognises the man behind the wheel as a repeat offender who is a known disqualified driver.
